Last night my sister and I got around to watching the pilot of In Plain Sight. Considering Mary McCormack really isn't someone I'm overjoyed by (I think it goes back to her West Wing character, who I really didn't take a liking to), I really enjoyed her in this role.

I kinda saw it as a Veronica Mars, all grown up & bitter, working as a US Marshall. She's snarky and hates being vulnerable, but you can tell she cares dammit and it pisses her off.

I'm really a sucker for snarky, tough women. And I loved her banter with the other marshall. It's awesome.

Definitely recommend checking it out.

I'm really getting sick of all these teasers for the new season of Burn Notice that don't actually include any new scenes/clips. I want some new stuff. I'm an impatient girl who has been waiting since October for more Michael Weston.

And if someone had told me five years ago that my favorite channel would be the USA network, I would've laughed a lot. But 4400 (which I miss), Psych, Monk, Burn Notice...and now In Plain Sight. Really good stuff.

I might actually get myself caught up on Battlestar Galatica in the near future. I'm almost through season three. The Lee/Kara dance is really starting to annoy me. I love both Lee and Kara on their own. They rock, but together, they just bug me lately. And I started as a L/K shipper, so this is surprising to me. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't love Anders and Dee as well...because seriously, stop jerking them around.

Once I'm caught up on that, I have to decide which comes next - Reaper or Lost. Anyone want to pick for me?

I'm currently rewatching Battlestar Galatica season two along with the first series of Torchwood. I'm madly in love with Captain Jack, but I knew that from Doctor Who...but Owen on TW, I love him. He can be such a jackass, but I love him so.

Mostly though, as I rewatch BSG, I am reminded of how much I love this show. I sometimes forget that because for me, BSG is a show that I don't miss so much if I'm not thinking about it/watching it actively...but once I get sucked back in, I just love and adore it and end up watching four episodes in a row.

Keep your fingers crossed that life doesn't interfere with my plans for this weekend, which are mostly made up of me getting writing done. I'm so far behind and there is so much to do. I think I need to just force myself to start writing, not worry so much about the what, but just the getting words out.

Also, I've been rewatching Wonderfalls on my lunch and I really want a Supernatural fic that starts pre-series while Sam is away at school where little inanimate objects with faces start talking to Dean and telling him to do things. And then when he's on the road with Sam, he tries to keep it a secret, but Sam is like, "Who the hell are you talking to?" and "Dean, why do you have a teddy bear?" C'mon guys...someone should write that.
