On a brighter note, today was my friend's surprise 30th birthday party at Dave and Buster's in Center City. It was lots of fun. I told her she should appreciate the effort her husband went to for the party because it was very lovely. And I saw some of our mutual friends that I hadn't seen in awhile...always nice, especially considering how sucky things had been lately with pneumonia and such.

Also discovered a new bakery in my area that has this amazing Strawberry Shortcake. Sure, one of the last things I need is sweets in my diet, but yummy. I think I'll have to try their brownie cake at some point...just yummy.

About to fall asleep and then I'm hoping tomorrow to get caught up on a bunch of fannish things. Real life has just...kicked my butt is putting it mildly. |
