Current Music: "Want To" Sugarland

Title: Winchester Meets Halliwell: Story III - Help a Big Brother Out
Author: Tommygirl
Rated: PG-13
Summary: Sam goes missing on a job and Dean remembers that Wyatt and Chris offered to help him out.
For: Prompt 21 - Friends for fanfic100. My table is located here
A/N: Much love to Steph for being the bestest in the world - you mock and edit all in on go. This story is a separate story, but it's best to have read the others in the Winchester Meets Halliwell universe. Feedback always appreciated.

Because I love all four of these boys a whole lot and Amy asked for a new part that involves some Wyatt and Dean chatting...well, this sorta got away from me... )

About this Entry
Oct. 27th, 2008 @ 09:48 am 44oz of caffeine might not be enough...
Current Mood: bored

It seems livejournal won't let me play in their sandbox, so I come running over here. Surely, it's a sign I'm a wee bit obsessed with journaling in some form or another.

Have gotten one of my co-workers hooked on the Twilight books. Still won't let her read my fanfic as that is something I don't share with my coworkers...but it's fun to watch someone sink into the Stephenie Meyer obsession that involves loathing and love all meshed together.

**

Am now caught up on Fringe just in time for three weeks of no new episodes. My timing is amazing. The show is a bit gross at points for my delicate sensabilities, but I enjoy it. Walter makes me laugh. Olivia is an interesting lead character. And it has grown up Pacey with scruff and a genius iq and that is never tiring. I love Josh Jackson.

Also caught up on numb3rs and spoilers through this past friday's episode... )

**

I should do some writing. Or something.

Author: Tommygirl/[info]storydivagirl

Written For: Crossover challenge on request of Alias/Lost--Weiss MUST be a main character
A/N: This was much more difficult to write than I expected and it's very open-ended because the ideas started to flow...so there may be sequels someday. Much love to my girl Steph for the beta work and the promise that it's not bad at all. Feedback always appreciated.

Alias meets Lost in a very painful way. )

A/N: Much love to [info]ladybug218 for the quick beta work and assurance that I didn't completely suck. I hope this fits the bill of the request, though my femmeslash is much more of a tease than anything (anyone surprised?). Feedback is always appreciated.

Sydney Bristow was trying hard to separate herself from Julia Thorne and the two missing years of her life. )

So if you, like me, are a woman who is against Sarah Palin and the manipulative idea that women will automatically flock to her because we share "girl parts", well here is your chance to speak up. Women Against Palin - We are not in the habit of criticizing women in the public sphere, as we usually feel we should support our female compatriots with as much encouragement as we can. However, Sarah Palin's record is anti-woman. Feminism is not simply about achieving the power and status typically held by men. It's about protecting and supporting the rights of women of all classes, races, cultures, and beliefs. Palin's record and beliefs do not align with this. She was chosen by John McCain specifically because he believes that American women will vote for any female candidate regardless of their qualifications. He is wrong.

You can email them at womensaynopalin@gmail.com with your name, (last initial is fine), age, and place of residence with your thoughts on why Palin does NOT represent the women living in this country. Responses will be posted on a blog called Women Against Sarah Palin.

Current Mood: amused

I've spent a large portion of my morning organizing tags and memories on my various communities. I try to stay on top of it as much as possible because it irks me otherwise, but I was a bit behind lately. ANd it makes me really want to offer my services to certain communities to help them with their systems - as my way of procrastinating is organization. I know it's weird, but it makes me happy.

Looking at this icon just makes me think back to that episode of Coupling. That scene is possibly one of my favorite from the series run, right behind Lesbian Spank Inferno discussion at the dinner table.
